After traveling 19 hours from Carol’s home in Pennsylvania to Marriott’s Waiohai Beach Club resort in Kauai Hawaii,

At the airport, there was a beautiful rooster,

several hens and 8 baby chicks to entertain us while we waited. Once we arrived at the hotel we realized there were chickens all over the island. We opted for dinner on the property overlooking the beach as the sunset

There were several monster snails crawling about (at least 4”) and a resident swan enjoying the many natural looking waterfalls and pools.

More pictures to come.
